The challenges of the divine vision driven by my greedy need for success and wealth proved the best learning curves of my short lifetime. I learned to appreciate the power of persistence through constant failure and how my faith proved the best asset in my inventory of possessions.
The road to becoming an enterprising woman was littered with persistent disappointment, self –pity, doubt in the vision of success and in people generally. Yet, through it all I happened to discover my passion and purpose! It was the most exhilarating discovery for my blessed 19 years existence. I knew when I started the year in the divine digits 2-0-0-9; I was going to have an explosive time. My only concern was whether I would be destroyed in flames or simply be the flaming spark that finally give the Sun firm competition in its ghastly monopoly of light energy! The power of the vision I had in my dreams, helped me start my first crippled steps forward. I knew I was young inexperienced and plain stupid in life’s heavy knocks or the many rounds it takes to attempt a 6th sequel to Rocky. Though I would like to earnestly say I wanted to start a business for the kindness of job creation in a recession, it wasn’t so. It was all part of my greedy exclusive plan to finally make a name for myself as another D. Trump.... in a Black Female model. I discovered. I am not only a creation of the Almighty; I am a living part of His Spirit. The power of the unleashed spirit and the gift of the tongue awakened the Platinum DIVA within Me. The unexpected happened. I got it. The way to achieve the grandest vision of myself. Network marketing. The route to unlimited success and financial freedom. It was perfect. All I had to do was get people and push the must have ultimate product and of course The Best Compensation Plan! It seemed the instant fix to my get a fortune dreams and I enthusiastically hooped on the gravy train with my feet flying in the air!!! Bang... The Hard Landing..... I quickly found the gravy was sour. Not thoroughly mixed and lacking all the spices that make it a tangy taste. My disillusion was instant and the most unhappy moment of my career- in- a -box venture. Yet, the train wheeled on. I was still on it despite all the knocks and bruises. Something within me continued to stir and be a dimmed light in my Eskom powered ride. The Comeback... In the form of Psalms 119v 105, “Your word is a lamp to guide me and a guide to my path”. My saving grace. I pulled myself into some form of dignity and got my heeled shoes and smile ready for the greatest war ever!!! The thousand battles within me every single day that wished to question my greatness and God given potential. The more I experienced temporary defeats the more I came into my own. My business stopped being a way for money-making but an opportunity to see others and their own realities. My obsession transformed from self –indulgent greed to an overwhelming hunger to do my level best to use my opportunity for the role to reach others and help them. It wasn’t about the getting the numbers anymore. It was now all about how to allow myself to be utilised by others to become the grandest vision they thought impossible due to the world’s polluted existence. . The Capitalist Diva... Alone in the dark and the light shines brighter everyday. My vision forms and ignites me into my own purpose. Though there are days I would simply give it all up and wish I could be simple in my ambitions, always a little nudge will push ahead in my journey of a million miles. For, now I understand that true success and wealth are rooted in time, energy and most importantly Faith & others. Today, I continue to struggle with my entrepreneurial course with the growing hope that the person I am becoming is going to be the next best Multi-PowerhouseDiva whose life vision painted a masterpiece of compassionate capitalism. Last words... The path to wealth is different for each person. Yet, it remains a universal law that it is a journey. Journey... the experience towards a destination. So, when You feel all walked out and your faith’s feet feel weak, it’s okay to take a calculated rest and re-boot. The sky is waiting to welcome another dazzling star to its vast space. Become Your Grandest Vision of Yourself. Let this year be Your Faith driven turn-around!! Phrased: Two Thousand and Turnabout!!! My vision is galaxy far....So I have quite a few Star Wars journeys to travel... The End.....Until the sequel By: Tshego Modise “I wake up every morning and I live my life.”
Can you believe the profoundness of the above sentence? Take a closer look at what it means to wake up every single morning as yourself and to live life on your terms. The most powerful day in your life will be the day you understand not why you were born, but how you being alive affects the life you were born into. There is a reason why you are born, yet it will not be fulfilled until you have a vision for that purpose. Each moment of our lives is not determined by the measure of time but by how we want to measure our moments in time. No matter what happens in my life, I decide how the time is spent in my life. There came a day when as a 16 year old school child, I realised I wanted to live a certain type of life. I found my dream, knew my purpose (Understanding why I am born) and I started to see the vision (how being alive affects my life purpose), to fulfill my purpose. In that dream I found my truth. I wanted to live a life that created a constant fulfilment of that dream life. In the progress of growing up, as an almost 24 year old young woman, I look back with joy that every morning since that day when I was 16 year old, I have being living a life that is creating and following my dreams. That is what I would encourage you, as you read this article, let this be the true moment of Truth. Ask yourself, Am I Living My Life? Or is an Imitation of another person’s dream? The best life to live is to live the life that dares you to be uniquely you. Are you the boss of your life? Or are you so busy building a corporate dream, you are leaving the crumbles of your true self for the retirement years? What vision of yourself have you allowed to be blurred due to a misaligned purpose? Trust yourself. Take the leap. Live daring. By: Tshego Modise Love what you do and give it your all
